Current Events
There are always tragic events, remarkable prevention efforts and studies on child safety and prevention that make the local, state, or national news each day. This page is designed to alert you to some of the news that might affect your work in child fatality prevention. It is impossible for us to keep every news article and study posted on this page, but please use these current events to guide your work and consider incorporating some of the research ideas or programs into your activities.
If there is a local news article or video that you want posted for all Georgia CFR committees, child advocates and national partners to see, please send us the link and we will post it here for you. We are partners in this work and we celebrate our successes together!
