Advocacy
The Office of Child Fatality Review advocates on behalf of children. Activities include lobbying for legislative changes to better protect Georgia’s children, making recommendations to state agencies on policy and procedural changes, and advocating for changes regarding child-care and safety within communities.
Our partners in child abuse and child injury prevention are also advocates for change. CFR is an active member of the United against Child Abuse Coalition, a group of child protection agencies advocating on behalf of children with a united voice. This Coalition was formed to better educate legislators about the continuum of services available for child abuse and neglect in
